When asked to help with the set design for this production of “Aladdin Jr.” for Midlothian High School I was so excited! The Land of Agrabah was the perfect place to let my imagination run free, and in doing so, I came up with some very unique designs.
In every design we knew we wanted to have accessibility; space to move or climb! Also it was important that the set primarily accented the actors!
I decided to be ambitious with my designs, knowing that things would be simplified in creation but I believe that it’s important to dream big in the creative process. Only then is it possible to discover the full extent of what can be done!
